Nicolette van Exel is the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at
Intuit. She is responsible for driving the company’s CSR strategy and
programming, with a key focus on transforming financial lives, especially for
those who need it most. She has twenty years of experience working at the
intersection of non-profits and corporations and is known for her expertise
in building cross-functional, high impact, CSR organizations. Before joining
Intuit Nicolette worked at SAP, where she managed the global CSR
organization and created the company’s first accelerator for social
entrepreneurs in emerging markets, including India, Brazil and Kenya. She
mentors start-ups and entrepreneurs around the world. Nicolette started
her CSR career in the non-profit sector, working on social justice campaigns
in global supply chains with human rights organizations and international
labor standards organizations. Nicolette was born in the Netherlands, has a
Bachelors degree in Political Science from The Hague University, and a
Masters degree in International Relations from the University of
Amsterdam.
