Session Title: Urban Bounty— Food, Diversity and Stewardship
Attendees will enjoy a tour of this flourishing 6-acre urban farm and learn about Veggielution’s core projects. Hear how this 501c3 non-profit is empowering the diverse residents of San Jose to become food advocates and environmental stewards through its youth garden, internship program, farm stand, and Eastside Grange— a commercial community kitchen and food hub at the historical location of Emma Prusch Farm Park. Then taste some of Veggielution’s fresh produce and make your own herb bundle to take a piece of the farm home with you.
