Session Title: Supporting Small Businesses To Create Good Jobs

Join ICA Fund Good Jobs for a unique peek at the workings of the country’s only investment fund explicitly committed to the creation of good jobs. You will get a behind-the-scenes tour of three of Oakland’s most innovative start-ups at Oakland’s Hive complex on Broadway.

From seeing the inner workings of the Bay Area’s only wood-fired bakery to meeting the people behind the Town’s most dynamic co-working space, this is your chance to get up close and personal with the businesses that create positive impact in more ways than one.
 
The tour will be followed by an in-person Q&A session featuring ICA Fund Good Jobs CEO Sean Daniel Murphy and special guests from Red Bay Coffee, Firebrand Artisan Breads, and Impact HUB Oakland. 

ICA Fund Good Jobs is the a non-profit venture capital firm committed to creating good jobs through its investments and its brand-new Good Jobs Accelerator. The session will not only offer a candid look into the working’s of Oakland’s dynamic business scene but will also be way to get familiar with ICA Fund Good Jobs’ philosophy of community improvement through good job creation. 

Special Instructions for Attendees from the Host Company: Our building is tucked in the back across the way from Drake's. Enter through the walkway (between Calavera and Impact Hub) located on Broadway between 23rd and 24th street. We are the last door on the right side, help yourself in. 
BART: The 19th Street BART station is just 3.5 blocks away.
PARKING: The closest places to park are on 23rd Street and across the street at the YMCA.
