Session Title: Introduction to the World of Thoughtful, Effective Philanthropy

In this interactive discussion attendees will be given an introduction to philanthropy and invited to think about their individual philanthropic efforts or corporate giving. Attendees will explore the different types of charitable giving that could benefit their community and how to ensure that that giving will be impactful.

Special Instructions for Attendees from the Host Company: 
SECURITY: When you arrive, please provide your name and say you are visiting Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. Security will then let you up to the 36th floor.
BART: The closest BART station is Montgomery BART station.
PARKING: We recommend parking in the 560 Mission garage around the corner from our office. The entrance is just off Mission on Anthony Street. Parking is about $10 for up to four hours, and about $25 for all-day. Alternately, there are three garages accessible directly behind our office on Stevenson between 2nd and 1st Streets. All-day rates range from $32-36.
