Session Title: Introduction to Plant*SF

Join Plant*SF for a guided tour of an urban sustainability garden. Founding Director, Jane Martin chronicles the first 10 years of converting areas of excess pavement to community gardens - and facilitates a discussion about goals for the next decade of urban greening. While viewing a completed project in action, attendees will hear about the process of starting a non-profit, successful implementation of the core mission and engaging with city agencies.

Special Instructions for Attendees from the Host Company: Please meet at the planted southeast corner of Harrison and 23rd Streets.
