Session Title: Thinking Beyond Grand

How does a major opera company approach change and innovation? In 2016, San Francisco Opera launched SF Opera Lab, a new R&D arm fostering new approaches to programming and solutions to the specific challenges facing the industry. Discover how San Francisco Opera developed SF Opera Lab and how it has transformed the company inside and out. Learn how ideas and approaches like this are instigating change across the field of the performing arts.

Special Instructions for Attendees from the Host Company: The Wilsey Center for Opera is located on the Fourth Floor of the San Francisco Veteran's Building located at 401 Van Ness Ave directly across from City Hall (corner of McAllister). 

Please enter through the lobby on the ground floor and take the elevators to the 4th Floor (Wilsey Center for Opera). Please check-in with staff upon arrival. Should you have any issues on day-of-arrival please call 415/565-6406. We look forward to sharing our story with you!
