Session Title: Compass Family Services - Ending Family Homelessness in San Francisco

Go inside a family homeless shelter, enter a small room, and learn what it's like from in-take to exit. You've waited almost a year to get this shelter room and you can only stay for up to six months. What happens during your stay and where do you go after? Compass Family Shelter provides rooms for 22 families. Most residents will be at work, in classes, or attending meetings - but you will be interacting with some residents and staff during the visit.

Special Instructions for Attendees from the Host Company: We will meet at Compass Family Shelter - 626 Polk Street. This is just a few blocks from BART on Van Ness. This is the Tenderloin, so we do encourage taking public transportation as parking can be difficult.
We'll meet in the lobby area and begin the presentation at 11am. Please try to arrive a few minutes early as guests need to sign in at the front desk.
