Session Title: Reinventing Education: Making a Gap Year the New Norm

How do we send more students to college with burning questions, rather than a bad case of burn out? Join Global Citizen Year's Founder and alumni for an interactive exploration of what it means to be college and career ready in 2017, and how business leaders, parents, and colleges can transform the traditional "gap" year into a launch pad for America's next generation of leaders.

Special Instructions for Attendees from the Host Company: Global Citizen Year is on the 4th floor of 1625 Clay Street in downtown Oakland (enter at the corner of 16th Street and Clay Street). The 12th St & 19th St BART stops are each a <5 min walk from the office, and there is metered street parking in the neighborhood. Upon arrival, use the call-box outside the door (Press 4) and we'll buzz you into the building and elevator. Come on up to the 4th floor!
